OUR GARLIC
From small beginnings only a couple of years ago, and the desire to give Australian consumers a homegrown product, 5 Acre Rock hopes to produce 3 tonnes of premium garlic this season.
5 Acre Rock garlic is grown at 900m elevation in the cool mountain air, and fed using water that filters down through granite boulders and collects minerals along the way.
Last season we planted a selection of local hard neck garlic, and used the best of that produce as the seed for our current crop. As a result of only growing produce ideally suited to 5 Acre Rocks' unique micro-climate, we now have a crop of robust, resilient, and flavorsome garlic.
